Golden A' Design Award Winner 2021
This scene presents a beauty product composition organized around a pump-dispenser cream bottle positioned on weathered stone platforms, styled to emphasize natural materials and earth-connected aesthetics through careful arrangement and warm, diffused lighting that creates an intimate, contemplative atmosphere. Scanning from left to right across the composition, the viewer first encounters several pieces of rough, porous stone fragments stacked in an irregular arrangement occupying the left third of the image, these stones displaying warm beige, tan, and pale terracotta colorations with visible texture suggesting sedimentary rock formations, their surfaces appearing rough as weathered sandstone or limestone, with natural fracture lines, mineral deposits, and erosional patterns creating visual interest through light and shadow play across their irregular contours. Moving rightward to the composition's center and focal area, a cylindrical cosmetic bottle occupies the middle-right zone, this container appearing to measure approximately four inches in height and perhaps two inches in diameter, its body constructed from frosted or translucent material in a pale ivory or cream tone that suggests a smooth, cool surface like matte glass or refined polymer, this semi-opaque quality allowing subtle visibility of the cream-colored contents within while maintaining elegant surface refinement. The bottle sits atop a flat, circular stone platform roughly six inches in diameter, this supporting element displaying similar warm earth tones and textural character as the left-side stone grouping, its surface appearing as dry, porous stone with natural color variation ranging from pale sand through darker sienna zones. The pump mechanism crowning the bottle features a matte black actuator portion that would feel like smooth, soft-touch plastic against fingertips, this dark element providing strong contrast against the pale bottle body, while directly beneath the pump sits a distinctive collar or shoulder element in warm burgundy or deep terracotta, this accent detail perhaps one-half inch in height, creating a sophisticated color transition between the black pump and ivory bottle that adds visual refinement and tactile interest to the dispensing mechanism. The bottle's front face displays typography in two contrasting styles, with "CREAM BLEND" appearing in clean, modern sans-serif capital letters suggesting precision and professional formulation, positioned above the word "by" in smaller scale, followed by a handwritten-style signature reading what appears to be a brand name in flowing script suggesting personal touch and artisanal care. The background, occupying the upper two-thirds of the composition, transitions through a gradient of warm tones beginning with lighter beige and tan zones at left, deepening through the center into rich chocolate brown, and shifting rightward into deeper burgundy and rust tones, all rendered in soft focus that creates atmospheric depth while suggesting additional product vessels or stone elements present but deliberately de-emphasized through selective focus technique. The immediate foreground, visible as a narrow band across the bottom edge, presents a neutral textile surface, its subtle weave texture suggesting natural fiber fabric like linen or cotton in an undyed or pale neutral tone, providing both literal foundation and conceptual grounding for the arrangement above. The lighting throughout the scene appears as diffused, warm illumination entering from the left side at approximately a 45-degree angle, this gentle directional light creating subtle highlights along the left edge of the bottle that would feel like warmth touching skin, while shadows beneath the stone elements appear soft-edged and transparent, suggesting the dusty rose color of late afternoon light filtered through translucent material, the overall luminosity creating a sense of intimate, quiet warmth like that of a private space bathed in natural daylight rather than the stark brightness of commercial display. The stone textures throughout would translate to touch as rough, dry, slightly chalky surfaces with irregular contours and small pits or voids characteristic of sedimentary formations, while the bottle would present as smooth, cool, and refined against fingertips, creating material contrast between ancient geological formations and contemporary manufactured precision that serves as conceptual foundation for the brand's visual identity and values communication.
This package design demonstrates the core concept of fine-dining. When you open the box, a chef's greeting card appears first as if you are at the restaurant. The ingredients and manufacturing date are marked on it, conveying the concept. The container is designed with a simple silhouette and natural color, also the neckerchief of the product is a symbol of the authority of chefs. This is a process of leathering, hand-stitching, and engraving logos, all of which are handmade. Through this, it has built a symbolic image of Kuoca.
